Breathe. Easy.

With Breathe. Easy. Mobile Lung Screening, Dr. Headrick helps the Chattanooga area breathe easy by coming out into the community providing noninvasive chest screenings to catch disease early. Additionally, Breathe Easy educates community members about the advances made in lung cancer research, detection, and treatment; and the benefits of early detection.

With a single scan, we are able to observe the majority of the chest cavity to catch other potential health anomalies and risks. Many at-risk community members will qualify for a screening that is covered by their insurance.

The Second Wind Society

The Second Wind Society, a local nonprofit, offers unwavering support to individuals facing a lung cancer diagnosis in and around Chattanooga. Our mission is to assist patients and their family by providing meals, transportation to appointments, and essential supplies for your battle. We firmly believe in the power of community to triumph over cancer and are dedicated allies for those navigating the challenges of this disruptive disease.

No one has to face cancer alone. That why The Second Wind Society is here to make sure you have the support you need.

Sock it to Lung Cancer

Sock it to Lung Cancer was created by Dr. Headrick and his wife, Anita to educate the public and give survivors a platform to share their experiences with those with recent diagnosis’s. They thought, “What better way to spread the word than through socks?” Socks are something people wear every day and are a great conversation starter. With your purchase of Sock it to Lung Cancer Socks you help support lung cancer patients and research that helps to save lives. Be sure to wear and share your socks on National Sock it to Lung Cancer Day, November 1st, the first day of Lung Cancer Awareness Month to spread awareness for screening and help raise funds for the Second Wind Society.
